Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor as well as a board member for SSC since the year 2011. Also, she was the producer and costume/set designer writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. For her last year she worked as a director of lighting and design for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut.
